The Vietnam War was a critical part of the civil war struggle. The United States deployed there domino theory which took
affect in North Vietnam.The North Vietnamese responded with a brutal attack in order to control Vietnam. Many of the
protestors thought and believed thatr the war was not only wrong, but was also a crime.many protestor used cold warrior
chants like "HELL NO WE WONT GO" and "HEY HEY LBJ HOW MANY KIDS DID YOU KILL TODAY" .This mentality viewed Southeast
Asia as a breeding ground for communist aggresion.
So why did we start this so called war on the Vietnamese?
For a long time the United States had missle superiority
over the solviets.But now the Solviets began to catch up in the sixties. The violence of the Vietnam war was soon to
reflect the violence which began to emerge in Europe and America.
